Interface plug mods are considered neuralware, since they interface their owner’s central nervous system with the virtuality of the Network., or with a variety of other hardware. Interface plugs are designed to receive a single skill chip, or as a plug in for interface cables. Most wear plugs in their wrists for ease of use. Some will mount plugs in their temples (’’plug heads"), just behind their ears {"frankensteins"}, or in the back of their head (“puppetheads”). Interface plugs are quite common, and the corps will often pay for a worker to have them installed.
